Meet our Chaplain

Hi! My name is Chloe and I am the School Chaplain at Court Fields School in Wellington. I got married to Jordan in 2025 and we live in Wellington. We love our town and the community feel - it is such a wonderful place to live and work in!

What made you want to take the role?

‍

I absolutely love working with young people. I have had the privilege of working both professionally and personally with them, in a school and church context, and so when God opened the opportunity to bring light into the darkness in Wellington, I jumped at the chance! I have always loved school and the unique opportunity it brings to help nurture and develop young people as they grow, and now I have the privilege of sharing the hope of Jesus to hundreds of students daily.

What do you enjoy most?

‍

I love seeing the same students day in and day out, throughout the seasons of teenage years and the academic year. I love cheering them on in all aspects of school life, I love the community feel at break times and lunch times, and I love being a positive role model to students, listening where needed and offering hope in the midst of hopelessness. I love being able to offer a different perspective and testifying to students that there is so much more to life than this!
